General Policy

The Shoe Lane does not offer refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect size selection, except where required by applicable law.

Refunds may be provided when a refund is the appropriate resolution for an eligible issue, including certain cases involving an incorrect product, a defective product, or a product that materially differs from its description.

Eligible Issues

Please contact us if:

  • You received a different product from the one you ordered.
  • Your product arrived defective.
  • The product materially differs from its description or agreed specifications.
  • Another issue arises for which a refund is required under applicable law.

Each report will be reviewed based on the order details and the nature of the issue.

How to Request a Refund

To report a problem:

  2. Provide your order number and registered contact details.
  3. Explain the issue and attach clear photographs, where available.
  4. Include packaging and shipping-label photographs if relevant.
  5. Follow the instructions provided by our support team.

An unboxing video can be useful evidence but is not an absolute requirement for exercising rights provided by law.

Refund Approval and Processing

If a refund is approved or otherwise required, we will communicate the next steps and applicable process.

Refund timing depends on the circumstances, the payment method, and the relevant payment provider. Any refund required by law will be processed within the legally applicable timeframe.

For Cash on Delivery orders, our support team will contact you to arrange an appropriate refund method and collect only the details necessary to process it.

Non-Eligible Requests

A refund will generally not be available simply because:

  • You changed your mind after ordering.
  • You selected the wrong size.
  • You no longer want the product.
  • The product does not match your personal preference despite matching its description.

These exclusions do not apply where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
